Advanced Placement United States History emphasizes both the content and skills needed to earn college credit with a passing score on the A. P. exam.  United States History combines study of this country’s past with activities to develop reading, writing and critical thinking skills.  Civics and Economics emphasizes the basic concepts of both topics as well as the thinking skills needed to analyze pertinent primary and secondary sources and Advanced Placement European History emphasizes both the content and skills needed to earn college credit with a passing score on the A. P. exam.

While new technologies, modes of communication, and alternative interpretations hasten forward quickly demanding satisfaction from us all, the integrity of past achievements serves as ballast against what is merely trendy or superficial.
