Adrienne "Addie" Proske is the Admissions Liaison for the School of Design and Production and the Visual Arts high school program. From starting dance at a young age to being in show choir and dance companies in high school and college, Addie has always been surrounded by and a supporter of the arts. Addie started her career in admissions and is excited to return and combine her excitement and passions into her dream job!
What excites you about your job?
The excitement and passion that our artists have for their craft! Hearing students tell their story and why they are interested in the arts is contagious. It is awe-inspiring to build relationships with students and watch their dreams come true.
Where can we meet you?
You can meet me on campus or at college fairs across the country! Outside of work, you can find me at my favorite coffee shops, enjoying local restaurants, or on walking trails across the city.
What's your favorite spot on the UNCSA campus?
UNCSA's campus is so pretty, it is hard to pick just one place! My favorite spots so far are Film Village and the Design & Production studios! Film Village is so picturesque and makes me smile every time I pass by or show it to prospective students. The Design & Production studios are a labyrinth of creativity and student works. It is so inspiring to see what our students produce!
How about Winston-Salem?
My favorite spot in Winston-Salem is Reynolda Gardens. No matter the time of year, it is always blooming with so much life. The trails are one of my favorite spots to go for a walk, and Reynolda Village is a great place to grab a coffee, a doughnut, or a bite to eat. Reynolda Gardens & Village has it all!
If you were on a deserted island and could only bring 3 things, what would you bring?
I would bring my Kindle (with a solar-powered charger), tons of sunscreen, and a sailboat!
