Chad Downard has taught courses in Color, Design, Wet Media (Painting), and Digital Graphics in the School of Design and Production since 2015. His visual art career has been multifaceted, as he has worked as a painter, printmaker, sculptor, fabricator, designer, model-builder, assistant curator, among other art endeavors. He is also involved as a co-investigator and teaching artist with Wake Forest University School of Medicine, researching methods using art as a therapeutic measure to improve the quality of life in HIV/AIDS patients.
