Isabel Aviles is a flutist with a Master of Music degree in Flute Performance from
the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she studied with Dr. Tadeu
Coelho. She also holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Central Florida,
where she studied with Dr. Nora Lee Garcia. Currently serving as the Recruitment Coordinator
at UNCSA, Isabel connects aspiring students with the school's vibrant musical community.
With a passion for performance, Isabel has played with various ensembles, including
the Villages Orchestra and Orlando Contemporary Chamber Orchestra. She has participated
in music festivals, including the Camino Spain Flute Camp and the Interharmony Music
Festivals in Italy and Germany.
Isabel's dedication to music education is evident through her teaching experience
at the Music Academy of North Carolina, UNCSA Band Together Program, Avalon School
of Music, Orlando School of Music, and UCF Summer Flute Institute. Her commitment
to fostering the next generation of musicians extends to her previous role as the
President of the Flute Club at UCF, where she actively promoted musical excellence
among the University.
Beyond her musical pursuits, Isabel has expanded her professional horizons through
her work as a Marketing Intern for Orbis Technologies, showcasing her versatility
and organizational skills. With a rich background in performance, education, and administration,
Isabel Aviles continues to thrive as a dynamic flutist, educator, and advocate for
the arts.
