Jethro Waters is a multi-award winning writer, director, producer and cinematographer. Waters’ Emmy Award-winning documentary "F11 and Be There" was a New York Times Critic's Picks, screened in select theaters internationally and is featured on many streaming networks.
Waters was writer, director, producer and cinematographer on "Gunfighter Paradise," a dark comedy featuring Jessica Hecht and Valient Himself, and executive produced by Nancy Buirski. His music video work with artists like John Cale, Angel Olsen and more has been featured in The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, Billboard, The New York Times, Spin, Pitchfork and NPR, and has reached millions of viewers around the world.
I thrive teaching aspiring filmmakers across all disciplines and guiding students toward success in collaborations on both large and small creative teams. My aim as an educator is to empower students to master the reciprocity between theory and practice.
