Josh Selander teaches lighting technology for the School of Design & Production. A graduate of UNCSA’s undergraduate lighting program, he has been a field service engineer for Electronic Theatre Controls since 2007.
Josh has worked as a moving light programmer for Broadway productions Jekyll and Hyde, American Idiot and Nice Work If You Can Get It, Cirque du Soleil’s Zumanity, and HA: The Breath of Life at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Hawaii.
Since 2007, he has been advance assistant electrician for the first national tour of Wicked. Selander has programmed and integrated lighting for industry events and has taught courses in new technology, system integration, moving light programming and show control as a volunteer at the University of Las Vegas.
