Michaela Colon has taught English II for 20 years and AP English for 16, guiding students to use literature as a lens for understanding themselves and the world. Her courses are designed so that students have ample opportunities to demonstrate mastery in the skills of reading, writing and critical thinking.
A Mentor Teacher for Forsyth County for more than a decade, she has supported student and lateral-entry teachers while developing curriculum and professional workshops for both Forsyth and Davie counties. Outside the classroom, she enjoys hiking and making memories with her family.
