Performance Overview

Faculty woodwind artists and special guests present kaleidoscopic chamber music by creators near and far, including premieres by UNCSA’s own Lawrence Dillon and alum Phoebe Pylant (H.S. '25); renowned Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos; Indian-American composer Reena Esmail, celebrated for her East-meets-West fusions; and the prolific composer Nansi Carroll, whose catalog encompasses everything from chamber music to spirituals.
