Performance Overview

One of Noël Coward’s iconic comedies, “Present Laughter” shows the central character Garry dealing with his mid-life crisis in the best tradition of French farce. Complete with doors banging open and slamming shut and the comings and goings of wives, mistresses, and the occasional male lover—you get the point—in a hilarious, head-spinning fashion requiring split-second timing of the ensemble cast. There’s no time like the present for laughter.

Directed by UNCSA School of Drama faculty member Claire Fort.
