Celine Lin (Tzu-Hsuan Lin) is a wig and makeup designer from Taiwan, currently pursuing her M.F.A. in Wig and Makeup Design at UNCSA. With a B.F.A. in Theatrical Costume Design, she has worked as a makeup artist on the Netflix fantasy series "Agent From Above" (乩身),which is yet published, designed costumes for stage productions, and assisted her professor, Harng Sheng, in the costume design industry before coming to Winston-Salem.
At UNCSA, Celine has designed for theater, opera, and film, including "Ballymore," "Kaizen" and "Beaks Bloody." She also contributed to "La Cenerentola" and "Albert Herring" at The Santa Fe Opera, where she received the Kathrine M. Mayer Memorial Award. Blending Eastern and Western techniques, Celine believes makeup and hair design should reflect both historical accuracy and emotional truth. She strives to bring novelty and elaborate details to every project she works on.
