Courtney Hodges

Courtney Hodges, born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina started his formal dance training at the age of 18, but was dancing throughout his younger years at Knightdale High School of Collaborative Design. His education at UNCSA has included training in LimoĢn, West African, CounterTechnique, Cunningham, Alexander Technique and Hip Hop.

Pieces he has performed were works by Robert Battle, Andrew Harper, Ming-Lung Yang, Anthony Lee Bryant, Jose Limon and Wesley Williams. Courtney is interested in teaching/choreography and has held his own classes at UNCSA as side projects. He is a collaborative, hard working artist that wants to share his creative purpose on a wide scale. Through these events, he has learned that after college he hopes to pursue commercial dancing and/or Broadway, while indulging in choreographing, teaching, directing and creating.
