Karim Fatkhutdinov is a fourth-year Production Design student in the School of Filmmaking. At UNCSA, he has taken on leadership roles in the Welcome Squad and as the current co-president of the International Student Association. He has also participated in the See/a/change Fellowship Program as a member of its first cohort.
Karim was born in Istanbul, Turkey, but grew up in Guangzhou in the south of China. His early passions were music, programming, volleyball, and later, urban planning. With experience working in the film and TV industry, he is now studying design for entertainment and hopes to gain proficiency in this field while also using the arts as a way to connect people.
