Natalie Kirk began dancing at age 3 in her hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She trained for several years at Revolution Dance Company, under the direction of Carrie Nunez Webb. During her summers, Natalie attended Jazz Dance World Congress Chicago, Joffrey NYC, Joffrey West, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and The Cambrians. She currently trains at University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she has performed works by Robyn Mineko Williams, Alexei Kremnev, Merce Cunningham, Twyla Tharp, Ton Simons and BJ Sullivan.
Natalie has received numerous awards, including the DeWitt Chatham Hanes Memorial Scholarship and the Betsy Friday Endowed Scholarship in Dance. In addition to her accomplishments in dance, she has also served on the Student Government Association and is the president of a student organization that works to integrate the arts and spirituality.
