Yaali Oria Mamerud is an Israeli violinist, pursuing an undergraduate degree at UNCSA, under the guidance of Professor Ida Bieler.
Yaali started playing the violin at the age of 6, after persuading her parents that this is her instrument. She graduated from the Israeli Conservatory of Music in Tel Aviv in 2023. Yaali was a member of the Young Israel Philharmonic Orchestra of the Jerusalem Music Center. She participated in the David Goldman Chamber Music Program for Outstanding Young Musicians, the Huberman Program and the Keshet Eilon Program.
Yaali hopes to use her musical abilities to make the world a better and more humane place. In Israel she was part of the Polyphony Music and Society Seminar project, combining chamber music with an academic curriculum that emphasises intercultural dialogue and leadership training.
