Performance Overview

When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies? A.J. Fletcher Opera Institute alumnus Richard Ollarsaba (M.M. ’12) seeks to find an answer as he delivers a commanding musical retrospective around the 17th century Spanish novel “Don Quixote.” Ollarsaba’s rich baritone voice explores songs inspired by the famed novel — from notable composers such as Maurice Ravel (“Don Quichotte à Dulcinée”) and Jacques Ibert (“Chansons de Don Quichotte”) — along with selections from the 1965 musical “Man of La Mancha.” Join the adventure in this must-attend event. Eric McEnaney accompanies on piano.
