Performance Overview
Join School of Music faculty members as they explore the fascinating history of sheet
music publishing and its impact on music production in the United States. The program
offers selections from the likes of Victor Herbert, George Gershwin, Richard Strauss
and more, spanning from the 1880s to the 1950s and beyond.
Visual aids will highlight the opulent artwork of original sheet music, and select
instrumental and vocal numbers will be accompanied by ballroom dance from partner
Best of Ballroom Dance Studio. Performers include Robert Rocco, piano; Allison Gagnon, piano; Oskar Espina Ruiz, clarinet; Phyllis Pancella, mezzo-soprano; and Glenn Siebert, tenor.
