Performance Overview

In a soaring soprano spectacular, UNCSA faculty artist Phyllis Pancella and guest artist Charli Mills present an unforgettable evening of new and established works. Composer and music history faculty member Michael Dodds will premiere a song cycle for soprano based on the sonnets of Malcolm Guite. The duo will also perform songs for mezzo and accordion by Derwid, the pop music pen name of Polish composer Witold Lutoslawski, as well as duets by Pauline Viardot-García. Faculty member Dmitri Vorobiev will accompany on piano.
