Performance Overview

Hailed by Broadway World as having a “sweet and smooth voice, glowing with power,” Jonathan Johnson (M.M. ’14) returns to UNCSA for the fourth annual A.J. Fletcher Opera Institute alumni recital. With over a decade of global performance experience, Johnson has performed with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, Utah Symphony Orchestra, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Washington Concert Opera, Piedmont Opera and more, and has toured in the United States and abroad with renowned trumpeter Chris Botti. This special performance features a mix of songs and arias, with accompaniment by UNCSA pianist Nancy Johnston.
