Dvir Finish is an Israeli-born actor, screenwriter and entrepreneur. After teaching himself English by reading children’s books, he moved to the U.S. at the age of 21, determined to pursue his passion for acting and love of filmmaking. Dvir believes nothing is impossible and is driven to make an impact both on and off the screen and stage, and is incredibly proud to be attending one of the best acting schools in the world, UNCSA.
It was during the Jewish holiday of Purim–the Jewish holiday with similar elements to Halloween–that he realized he could become anyone, which truly sparked his desire for acting. His grandmother’s advice, “Be an actor, and you can be them all,” set him on his path.
Dvir has taken on iconic roles from the musical "Hair" as George Berger to "Mother Courage" as the Singing Soldier and the romantic comedy "Frankie & Johnny in the Clair de Lune" as Johnny.
Dvir’s passion for indie filmmaking continues to grow, and he’s eager to collaborate with directors like Kenneth Lonergan, and more.
He’s all about creating meaningful, impactful stories that based on true events that can change the world for a better place. Oh, and yeah… snagging a couple of Oscars as the lead/supporting role actor would be nice too (around 10 but who's counting..) Maybe even suiting up as Spider-Man or some other superhero in a movie. But hey, one thing at a time, right? — for now he's just focusing on enjoying the ride.
