Liana Morales

Liana Morales is a proud first-gen Afro-Dominican actor, singer and dancer from Harlem, New York. Her yearning for the stage began when she was about 6 years old after watching the movie "Grease" with her mother, and since that very moment, she's been enamored by the arts.

After overcoming her stage fright at 15, she was finally able to break into the world of acting and has never looked back. Holding on to her life motto: everything happens for a reason. Her passion is driven by the desire to cultivate spaces for people of color while highlighting and representing the Afro-Latino experience.

Liana’s UNCSA Drama credits include "As You Like It: The Musical" (Bronco/Broncos Agent) and "John Proctor Is The Villain" (Shelby Holcomb). See her in "The Wild Party" (Kate) and "Julius Caesar" this 2024-2025 season!!

Her love for the arts truly goes beyond acting. Being a singer for as long as she remembers and growing up in a music-loving household, music has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember. She’s also a writer; on top of already generating new works, she is currently finishing her first solo play, “Black Girl Therapy,” that she hopes to preview by the end of this year!

Her hobbies include roller skating, eating really good food, and reading plays. She is extremely grateful for her time at UNCSA and her family for nurturing her into the artist/person she is today!
