Sam Vukic

Sam is a third-year Drama student from Tenafly, New Jersey. This is his second year in the Ambassadors program and his first as an Associate Director. In his free time, he loves playwriting and driving around Winston-Salem with his friends.

What is your favorite spot on campus?

Without a doubt the library. The library has a HUGE collection of plays, sheet music, normal books, everything that you could ask for. It's a great space to do homework, go over lines/blocking, hang out with friends, everything. It also has a really great view of Winston-Salem up on the fourth floor.

What is your favorite memory?

The second-year drama students do something called "Poem Day" once a year during lunch. You'll just be sitting there, eating your lunch, and then all of a sudden thirty drama students start sprinting outside (with only a few of them wearing shoes) and start performing poems right beside you. It was definitely startling the first time, but amazing to watch. Getting to do it myself was a similarly fantastic moment (I stood on top of a table, it was awesome).
